I'm running through the village in my underweeeeaaaar

hello my few and faithful readers, I do apologise for the infrequency of these posts but coming up with something to write about is difficult, especially when you're bored. Firstly, to get the comment question of the day out of the way, you are in my house cos you're making pizza. I have to admit that these answers aren't as imaginative as I'd hoped, and seem to come from the same person each time which is a little scary to me.

I also hope you like the little arctic monkies parody I've chosen for the title of my blog, but on to more substantial matters.

At this point most, if not all, of the students reading this will have finished for the summer. Right now you're probably envisaging a summer filled with festivals, parties, barbecues and days out. However, what awaits you is three months of boredom. You won't see your friends as often as you would and will find you don't have the money to keep up with the fun stuff. So why do we all have this paradisaical image of summer engraved in our minds? A testament to the power of hope over experience.

In an attempt to fill out my blog some more I've elected to feature a video with each post. This time it's a classic sketch from the two Ronnies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcrs5Z7S-oM I have to say that this is my favourite of their sketches. It's not like it was difficult to beat the mastermind skits.

And now for the news. Greece has now been granted 120bn Euros by the EU. Surprisingly this has been a moment of glory for David Cameron who somehow convinced the EU that the cost of this bailout should be borne by the countries who use the single currency. So England gets away scott free for a change. Admittedly Europe will hate us for it, but who cares? We've been kicking their arses for the past 945 years.

So that's todays post, I hope you'll keep your eyes peeled for the next one. Now it's time for the comment question of the day, today we're asking where did Jesus go? Please leave your interesting or creative remarks in the comments section below.
