Speaking for myself I've spent this weekend having a personal Vin Diesel marathon. I bought pitch black and the chronicles of Riddick yesterday and followed those up with xxx, the fast and the furious and fast and furious. I honestly struggle to find a better guy film actor than good ol' Vin. In fact atm I'm looking into buying Riddick contact lenses, just trying to convince myself that they're worth £20. But I'm sure I'll manage it before too long.
Clichéd as it may be, what the hell is going on with the weather this weekend? It was so sunny and lovely yesterday, so there I was gearing up for a pleasant Sunday and the sky decides to open up on me. At least we didn't get the snow people kept telling me we were promised.
On a more serious note the situation in Egypt is looking very worrying today. After 18 days of protests against President Mubarak the Egyptian military council has dissolved the parliament and suspended the constitution. At the moment they are saying that they intend to hold power for the next six months, or until elections can be organised. This sounds very civilized and prudent but historically speaking once the military has control of a country they rather like to keep it. Take the Burmese Junta as an example.
So that's the blog for this weekend, I'll be making a post tomorrow about love and relationships mostly if you care to read it.
